ME departments or research groups can outsource some or all of their design projects to the FW if they do not have the capacity to do the work themselves.

This may consist of technical (measurement) setups or prototypes, where any preliminary research, design, production and/or validation work can be carried out by the FW. This process must always take place in consultation and cooperation with the requesting department or research group. These kinds of projects take a considerable amount of time and must be carried out simultaneously with other work at the FW, so please take into account a longer lead time.
